A Journey

A journey.

An amazing one.

That's what these three years have been for me.

And many others I'm hoping.

Well, college is coming to an end.

It's been three years.

Where did the time go?

Feels like just yesterday, I was a confused, anxious but excited high school graduate.

From meeting new people,

To learning new things,

To exploring the world of independence,

To now being quite close to putting on that black cap and gown.

We've seen people transform in so many ways,

Friendships that have formed, broken, and then formed again.

Maybe with the same people,

Maybe with others.

It took some of us time to find 'our' people,

But some did find them the very first day.

I guess, things happen at different paces for everyone,

Things work out.

The uncertainty,

Frustration,

Laughter,

Confusion,

Stress,

And of course, memories that we'll cherish and reminisce for years to come.

There will always be uncertainty,

It's been there since our school days,

During college days,

And now, the prospect of further studies or a job maybe?

And will our friendships here last? Or is this the end?

Life will keep changing,

Things can be thrown our way anytime and anywhere,

We can't be prepared for everything,

But we can trust ourselves, embrace change, and keep going.

We don't know what will happen after we graduate,

But what we do know is,

That we can always look back at a life changing experience that's gone on these three years.

That's helped us evolve as individuals.

Being somewhat prepared for the outside world,

With a bag-ful of funny, exciting and fulfilling experiences with us,

That we can always dig into.

One day, all of this will be worth it.

Here's to everyone doing what they love, and are meant to.
